Place a sheet of paper on a hard floor. Have your dog stand naturally on it with their full weight on the paw. Trace the outline of the widest paw (front paws are usually larger). Measure the width at the widest point of the tracing in centimetres (cm). Measure the length from the back of the heel pad to the tip of the longest nail. If your dog is between sizes, size up. When in doubt, size up: The bungee closure and hook-and-loop strap can be tightened to compensate for a slightly longer boot, but nothing compensates for a boot that is too narrow. Truffle (¾ boot) variant: The Truffle cut sits just below the ankle. Measure the same way — sizing is identical to the full boot. After the first wear: Walk your dog 5–10 minutes indoors. Check that no toes are pushed forward against the toe box and that the strap sits securely mid-paw without restricting circulation. Multiple dogs?
